petco is great do it
My mastiff is treated well there the minute we walk in the minute we walk in the door so know that he is reasonable.

first look at either specitalty stores that specilize in grooming petco is gonna be not as good as a store that specilizies in grooming

We had our Lab/chow ( chow hair, lab personality) groomed there. Not shaved, they did a nice job and he seemed to like them and they seemed to treat him well.

My petco all the dogs going both ways they treat the size of labchow is difficult and happy going both ways they treat.
i don’t recommend Petco. Go to your vets and ask if they can recommend any groomers. I bet there are some local groomers out there that are better than petco. I have one who works out of her home. She has a studio in her house.She only grooms one dog at a time. Good luck
I’ve used Petco many times, I think they do a good job at a reasonable price.
