ha*ha*ha asked:

J& #39; just need something which can cold être consommé, with the hands, and n& #39; is not dirtying. Still not of desserts. The food which will be, it is chips and salsa, puppy chow, tarts, biscuits, brownies, therefore not more dessert. In this moment, my only idée is quesadillas, but since we have chips and salsa, I n& #39; do not like really l& #39; idée of quesadillas much. I am not a sandwich or the hamburgers or the hot-dogs or something like ça. L& #39; idée is OUT. Therefore, s& #39; it you plaît any suggestion would be marvellous!

If you own a Chow Chow or if you're thinking about getting one, then this may be the most important letter you'll ever read...

Cold cuts and cheese plate. Easy to buy and takes minutes to prepare. Serve it with toothpicks.

Or veggies with dip; also can be bought ready to serve.

I suggest short vegetable sections, things like carrots and celery, with some hummus to dip them into. Its always a popular item at our parties.

Everytime I’ve made these, they are a hit!!!

    Taco Pinwheels

    4 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup cooked and drained seasoned taco meat (ground beef seasoned with taco seasoning)
1/4 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup salsa
    2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives
    2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
    5 flour tortillas (8 inches)
    1/2 cup shredded lettuce
    Additional salsa

In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese. Stir in the taco meat, cheese, salsa, mayonnaise, olives and onion. Spread over tortillas. Sprinkle with lettuce; roll up tightly. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Unwrap and cut into 1-in. pieces. Serve with additional salsa. Yield: about 3 dozen appetizers.

(I didn’t quite get 3 doz out of the receipe, but I have doubled the receipe for larger crowds).

    Make your own “roll-ups” :

Soften an 8 oz. pkg of cream cheese. Mix in some herbs that you like (basil, oregano, rosemary, etc.). Then spread a generous amount on several flour tortillas. Next lay on a piece of very thinly sliced ham. Roll up and cut into about 1″ sections.

    Easy and good!

Wing-dings…the tiny chicken wing portion, baked with a barbeque or hot sauce and served warm or cold. Have some ranch dressing as a dip with them.

Bacon wrapped chicken livers. (wrap a slice of bacon around chicken liver, place in oven and bake at 350 till bacon is done). Side dish of Horseradish or hot sauce. (I have taken this to so many parties only to be sneered at UNTIL they try it. Now it is requested.

Triscuit crackers (or your favorite), cream cheese, smoked salmon and prepared horseradish. (Place cream cheese on your favorite cracker, a piece of smoked salmon, then top with a dab of horseradish to your liken).

Take flour tortillas spread with cream cheese with chives on each one. place thinly sliced ham on top and then roll. Cut into desired width.

Sam’s Club has a nice variety of ready made quiche dishes and many varieties of bite size desserts.

Quesadillas are great, but if you don’t want to be redundant try some unusual ones. Try Zucchini Blossom Quesadillas, Mango-Cheese Quesadillas, or Pear and Brie Quesadillas
